While the focus of the site is not ELD, it offers some excellent resources that address that issue. By entering into the search bar the desired topic, teachers can see what other teachers are doing as well as access free tools to help them implement those strategies in their own classrooms. This source is a great way for teachers to connect with what other teachers are doing and find inspiration for their own classrooms.

Teachers Pay TeachersThis is a wonderful source where teachers can go to share material they have developed, find tools that other teachers have developed, or see what other teachers are doing. It offers both free and purchasable downloads as well as tools for using Common Core State Standards. Teachers are highly creative people and if a teacher makes something that works well for their students, it is likely that is will work well for other students as well. This website allows teachers to share their materials with other teachers and earn a reward for the hard work they did to develop their material.

NABENABE or the National Association for Bilingual Education is a nonprofit membership organization that serves as an advocate for multilingual students worldwide. This organization holds conferences that teachers can attend to learn about what is happening in bilingual education all over the world. It also advocates for the needs of ELLs by working to inform legislation of these students’ needs and get them the funding and resources that they need and deserve. This association is actively making known the needs of ELL students so that they can be better supported.
